Fanless cooler.

What is a good fanless cooler for 7 series cards (7900gs) I saw this cooler master. But not sure on what is better..

EDIT: NVM, but passive cooling is risky, isn't it?

Depending on your case's airflow or cooling, passive might work. And also, if the 7900GS isn't heavily overclocked. Maybe slap on, a really really quiet fan.

Maybe I will consider a vf-900 then. I know they are a quite effective cooler.

just buy a PCI fan cooler if your worried. I was just wondering where the heck you screw that in, or is it by clip?

I'm not worried about heat. The purpose is to make this computer quieter.

I think a zalman , that will be on the card itself won't be loud at all like the case fans.

a 7900 is to wigh powered to use a passive cooler on unless you use a passive cooling case where the whole side of the case acts as a huge passive cooler one side for the gpu and ram the other for cpu and hdd's these are very expensive cases though. They do incase anyone is curious support passive cooling up to a q6600 temps which is surprising

Get a Zalman VF900. You probably won't even hear it, even on high.

OH MY GOD..

Guys, the Accelero S1 is made to run silently, and it does rather well, actually.

However, if you do not feel it is suffice, you can get the Turbo addition.

And besides that, forget about the VF-900.. The COOLER MASTER Cool Viva Pro performs better, and is quieter, however, it does take up much more space.. it's cheaper by very little IIRC, too.

Do some research, all of you.. Jeez..
