how do the fan controllers work? do u plug them into the controller instead of the PSU or somthin? Can you make them go faster than stock speeds this way?

Yes, but you can't make them go faster than stock speeds. Overclocking doesn't apply to them. Unless you mod them with a higher speed motor or something. But you can adjust the speed from stock to lower.

Fan controllers are basically variable resistors. It can be 0 ohms so the fan is at full speed or it can be more and the fan slows down.

Cheap, 20w per channel, does what it's designed to do.

Can't really ask for more.
