Default Fail to Post when FSB is beyond 230

In regards to the first system in my signature. When i set the FSB to 240 i get no post. This is with the CPU multi at 8=1920mhz. Less than what came from the factory. I am wondering as to WHY it will not post. PCI cards holding it back? Northbridge getting too hot? or is my motherboard just a piece of crap?
