This is an example of something w/ 2.5 latency it's called CAS latency.

all the other CAS latency's i see are 4 digits IE 2-3-3-6 or some shiz...wtf?

Those 4 numbers are the memory timings... the first one 2 in this case is the CAS latency and is the most important. btw 2 is as fast as you can get.

I recommend getting a bigger HD or a second one. if ur going to spend that much money on a system, get the largest HD that u can afford.
recommend getting a DVD burner, dont even waste ur money on a cd burner, for another $100 u can burn dvds
i wouldnt recommend overclock with that much money in a system, u can fry something very quick if u dont know what ur doing.
get dual memory, it runs much smoother with a 64 bit
get xp pro, much better for gaming i think and then u get all the extras, like video editing software

everything else looks good
i wish i had the money to upgrade again, even though mine is pretty fast

one suggestion....do a little more research. It seems like you used new egg for the prices, but if u search around a bit more, you can find lower prices. Also, all because certain things are top of the line doesnt mean its the best thing to get. Some of stuff you listed you definitly dont need. Yes.....it is good, but a waste of money unless your gonna edit high quality porn or something hahaha
