okay..i have just sucessfully oc my 4000+ to 3ghz..
think there is still potential for another 100mhz..for my first attempt..i changed the ram settings to manual and for the rams speed, i changed to 533..there are 800,667,533 and 400..i tweak my vcore to 1.45 the stock is 1.35 though i did not met any unbootable situation...
isit too high for this cpu??slowly raising the fsb, cpu multi is retained at 10.5...
from 200-280 there was no prob..but once i hit 286,took 2 time to boot into xp and seems unstable..media player got an error after playing and soon it restart by itself.i assume it is mem..up the vdimm from 1.950-2.000.too high??cpu-z indicated fsb:dram is cpu/11 so what does that mean??
