EVGA 7900GT Volt Mod - Success!!

Greetings,

Thanks to a link provided by Lord Anthrax I have OC'd my 7900GT.

I have completed the 1.2V to 1.4V mod on my Video Card....

Nice...very nice!

GPU @ 630MHz
MEM @ 1662

3DMark06:
SM2 = 2433
HDR/SM3 = 2368

Stock speed was 500/1500, stock scores were 2120/2089 respectively (these are the KO model scores)

I love this Circuit Writing pen thingy!

I may try the 1.5V mod in a week or so, along with the MEM Volt Mod.... soooo exciting! (or maybe I need a steady girlfriend....nah!)

I did go as high as 645 on the GPU, but it was my first time and I wanted it to be gentle, so I backed off. Next week I'll take another step and perhaps do the 1.5V and the RAM voltage.

Temps are alright: Idle = low 40's / Load = low 50's (C)

Yup those are good temps..



How did you like then pen? It was a jerk to me and it was really hard becuase my hand kept shaking
