It helps the thermal paste actually "cure in"

so the temps could drop some, so stress it for a night (like run Fold@Home or something while you sleep)

That's right I did read that also but forgot. That makes sense.
Newegg is amazingly fast. I ordered it around 10:00 AM yesterday, got free shipping, paid $2.99 for rush, and it is already on the UPS truck and will delivered to my house today.

yes the thermal paste will cure and the temps will drop a bit but he said breaking in the cpu, not letting the paste cure.
