E6750 and stock cooling?

If you're not planning to overclock, but do gaming, should you still upgrade the intel stock cooler on the E6750? This is for a friends build and I have a spare Freezer Pro he can use, but if it won't do much better I'll just hang onto it. Reviews on the CPU seem to say the stock HS is pretty decent.

The C2D heatsinks are somewhat decent. An aftermarket heatsink will definitely be better though.

WEll, if he isnt gonna overclock i think it should be fine with the stock cooler.
I've known people who oc on the stock cooler and get it upto 3.2 ghz or around there somewhere with pretty decent temps.

As long as his case has decent airflow and good temps, he should just stick with the stock cooler.

Depends on his temps, My Zalman took me down about 10c i think.
