Hey the FX cpus are S940 right? so why couldnt you put them in the mobo? Im j ust saying those 4 cause it just sounds cool not like im actually gonna do it. But for a server hands down the quad opteron is the best YIPPIE. I j ust wish i had something to utilize that much power. I dont even need it i just figured i woul dpost it to outdo intel lol. And nubius what IS pic-x? ive never heard of it before.

FX's are 939, they aren't server chips. There may be socket 940 FX's , but they are mainly 939 and for desktop purposes. Opterons are purely server uses and the mobo only supports that. Just because the sockets are the same assuming you had 4 socket 940 FX's doesnt mean that the mobo would run them.
