well my 18/185 is going to be great, very practical, also the bundle im getting coems with a 70/300 lens.

Consider not getting the bundle and instead of the 70-300 look at a nice prime lens instead.

In case you don't know a prime lens is usually a fixed focal length and has a very low f/stop value. Usually along the lines of 1.4-2

What this lets you do is take pictures in low light situations while still getting a fast shutter speed. I think that you would probably get much more use out of one of those.
