Defragging hard drive..........

is there anyway of telling when i last defragged as i cant remember and would like to know?

I tried looking within the windows defragger but i cant see anything that says "last defrag" etc

I don't think there is but why would you want to know this. Just defrag again and write it down or something.

im pritty sure there isnt a way to see when the last defrag was but you can just open the defrag program and click analize, if it says that it is recomended that u defrad, then do it, if it says you dont need to then dont.

only reason i asked is because last time i defragged it took at least 2 hours i think, well it took time anyway.

But ill do that analyze thing and see what its saying.

2 hours? how big is your hard drive, i defrag every few months for my 80gb and it takes not even 10 mins
