Ok so as I started playing games I noticed my FPS has been down lately and I couldnt figure it out till yesturday. I even reinstalled my OS because I thaught I had a virus or something running in background and taking my CPU.

When I play a game my temp seems to climb up to mid 80s sometimes before my CPU fan actually starts to go "Hey this thing is overheating here, turn up the RPM." My RPM was low down to 1.7k and then when I started to play a game it doesen't climb up fast and it just makes my temp go up to 86. Then it slowly starts to climb and once it reaches 3.4k rpm then the temp is in 70-76 on load. I don't know what is causing my comp to do but I need something to help me either speed up my CPU fan to 4k+ or something else to keep my temp down. I have the side of the case opened and still the same. I know the sensors arn't reading it wrong because the FPS issue i'm having when it heats up to 80-86.

Here is a little picture of my SpeedFan

That temp up there was at 60% CPU load, I quickly alt tabbed out of game to get this report.

Any suggestions please feel free to post here.

Thanks

I have a CPU fan, the Powersupply fan blowing inside of the case and 1 other in front of the case (small one). Ohh and had a fan on the side of the case but took the side off.

u should get a 120mm for front and u should have the same size on on the back off ur case, and put ur side on back on.

buy a aftermarket cooler for ur cpu

I was thinking of getting the Antec Senota II case this week and puting 2 fans on back and one in front just to be safe. My case is ready for garbage, I put my new motherboard into my old 2.0ghz case that looked cool in the days with lights but now I need something that will keep the temp down + this case = really loud and hard to sleep when you have your comp running 24/7.
