Ste, what happens if they dont disable EIST and C1E? I thought they can still o/c but not as effective.

i couldn't get it to boot at 3.6GHz with EIST and CIE on, but once i turned them both off, i was able to boot...i have them both on at 333x9 = 3.0GHz and i like how it runs...idle at 2.0 but jumps to 3.0 under load...

Its all about stability.. If the CPU is always downclocking itself here in there because of some CMOS settings you can't truely test an OC. So you can leave them on but it only makes the job tougher..

I did read it, and i dont plan on any more Oc'ing so im fine with what i've done so far. I know there is more i need to do to push my CPU further, but im not at that stage yet. Will having a stock Bios version hinder me in any way?
