Default CPU heating

I just recently built my computer, but all I have is a CPU heatsink in their and the PSU fan. All of the sudden the computer has been running slower, just wondering if I could have overheated the cpu, or it was a side effect of all my problems with the blaster bug. any ideas why its running slow?

I think it is always a smart idea to cool your cpu somehow. I think it always heads off a few problems personally.

Then again, if it isn't running too hot the problem could be something else.

ok if your computer is a Pentium II u ned a CPU fan. U need a CPU fan NO MATTER WHAT. If you dont u will burn ur CPU out and then u will need to get another one. It doesen't matter if you have 15 fans in it and no CPU fan, u need one.
