CPU Fan mod

last night i was modding my fan for my cpu because the humid here in Ontario is high and so were by temps . Usually my cpu ran about 30-35*c but because of the humid it ran 37-45*C
So i modded a skt 462 Thermal Take fan with brackets to my skt Am2 heatsink , but im worried about the the power it sucking out my PSU . The OEM fan ran .08a while this fan loud as h3ll runs .50a
