cpu fan?

would i need a cpu fan for an intel celeron 2.4 ghz processor if i wasnt going to over clock? is it recommended?

I'd say yes. You'd be safer going with it, so just do it.

wait are u asking if u need a heat sink and fan period or just a better one?
if the question is that (do i need a heat sink and fan period?) then u shouldnt be tinkering with things and for any more fans recomended yea a few case fans prolly for ur video card and hard drive and all that

Always need a fan on those. The new processors NEED a fan. I think the first pentiums were the cpu's to first need fans. And ever since than, a cpu cannot run without one.

Well, I think the mac minis are passivly cooled, and many laptops have passivly cooled processors. But, if you are looking to overclock, a fan is a must.
