i'm aware the "core temp" utility, but i'm wondering if there is a utility that can simulate the temp conditions of my processor under load.

i'm about to upgrade my cpu cooler, power source and ram as well as the case fans and i'd like to see how it has helped my average and peak temps.

thanks!

i dont think there are programs to simulate load temps, as to my knowledge. but running intel burn in test and monitoring the temps are a good way to see your max temps.

Hello,

Yes, use a utility like CPU burn-in to put maximum load on the CPU, while observing the core temperatures using Core Temp.

Note: For maximum load, you'll need to run one instance of 'CPU burn-in' per CPU core (e.g. for a dual core processor, run two instances of the program simultaneously to put 100% load on both cores).
