Yo,

Well, I just recently joined and I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on how to kick some uber coolage into my computer.

My computer isnt much, since I lack a job (Hey! Im only 17!), but here are some simple specs:

EDIT Decided to add some detail
--------------------------------
Athlon 1.4ghz
1 120 gb 8mb 7200rpm Barracuda Seagate (Partitioned 2x 60gb)
1 40 gb IBM/Hitachi 8mb 7200rpm
512 mb ddr ram (2x 256)
Radeon 9600xt 128mb
SB Live! Sound Card
21" KDS Flat Screen Monitor
Altec Lansing 6.1 Speaker Set (+Altec Lansing Headset)
Creative PC-DVD rom drive
TDK CD-R/CD-RW 52/14/18
2x PS2 controller adaptors
WACOM Drawing Pad
Multimedia Full control Elements Keyboard
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer
19" Sony monitor (footrest)
HP LaserJet 1000 (networked)
HP Scanner (forgot the model, too lazy to look)
Canon i550 color printer
--------------------------------
I was thinking of buying some fans to cool down my 9600xt since it has been freezing recently while running some stuff (ie: Lineage 2). ATM I have one exhaust fan and one fan on the front of the case blowing air out, plus I have one fan shoved in the back somewhere.

Im currently in the market for one of those liquid cooling systems, and maybe buying my ram some of those cooling sticks.

So my project would be buying a new tower, preferably a full size tower as opposed to my mid-sized (I have a problem fidling with the ide cables when my power supply is in the way... I hate my cramped tower -_-) and buying mass heat sensor fans from Thermaltake. When I get a job ill get the liquid cooling system, unless I get suggestions otherwise :p

One kicker about my rig is that I dont have my side panel on

I plan on upgrading to a new mobo + a P4 3.0ghz, buying a 512 stick so I can get @ least 768 mb ddr ram. I could care less about my sound card, as long as I can hear from my head-set and speakers im fine.

Any cooling suggestions for my case project would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced

if u want a very good watercooling kit, get a Aquarius III. I love it and i have one. Also, if you want the ram cooling kits, there a waste of money for there purpose. If you just want it for looks then yea get it but.. for it actully being useful then there not. Um... Yea i would go with a dragon case. A Xaser III made by thermaltake is what i have. I love it and i think its a very nice case.

I just have my air conditioning my room jacked down to sub zero

Yah so you dont want to be cold-well-only a true computer freak would sacrifice comfort for the sake of his comp
