Default Is Conroe OCing Any Different than Athlon64?

I was wondering if OCing a Conroe would be totally different from OC my 3700+. Maybe someone should make a guide and put it as a sticky here.

same basic principles, increase FSB speed and compensate instability by raising vcore where necessary...the only differences would be LDT ratios and the onboard memory controller vs. north bridge memory controller which might require more northbridge voltage on C2 boards for memory overclocking

Intel C2D E6320 / AMD Athlon X2 3800+

Send a message via AIM to the yellow one

intel's are great overclocking without raising voltage like pentium. but the netburst architecture sucks so not many people pay attention to them but i think the story is change for the release of conroe
