I still say that your problem is the PSU...especially if the problem arose after you installed the new video card, I am almost positive it's your power supply

As I suggested, bust out a multimeter and see what your 12v rail looks like under load...I can already tell you that Ultra is a terrible product to begin with though

Gaara, I think you've told me that before, along with many others. Again, the same guy at the computer store's fault, he told me it was one of the best on the market. Idiots.

Anyways, some OCZ memory and an Enermax PSU are on my Christmas list so we'll see I guess. Otherwise time to use my Christmas bonus I guess.

You gotta consider that new card is a power hog
So Nubious (and gaara), I got a $100 to CompUSA for Christmas, based on everything we've been talking about here, do you think that should go towards a new PSU? It sounds like the consensus from the two of you is that it is my Ultra PSU that is causing my instability, not my memory.

Here are the 3 PSU's I think I've narrowed it down to:

http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...205&pfp=SEARCH

http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...377&pfp=BROWSE

What do you think?

Sorry this is late mate but I would personally recommend the powerstream as it is second only to PCP&C power supplies and they are significantly more expensive. OCZ power supplies are reliable and they have excellent tech support IMO
