took me a little gander, and seems like everything would work just fine... not to bad of a rig if you ask me, not a bad price either

It looks pretty good to me.
I think this motherboard (if you wanted to stick with a SOYO MOBO) would be better so you can put on PC3200 RAM and a 800 MHz FSB CPU for only $40 more:

I guess it also depends on what you're gonna use it for. For light gaming, I would save your self some more money and go with a 9600 XT vid card instead of the 9800 XT. I dont think the 9800 XT would even be compatible with that MOBO - the MOBO can use 2X/4X AGP, but the 9800 XT uses 8X.

I should chose that mother board because it has 3 slots for RAM? I am planning on upgrading to 1.5 gig of ram later...unfortuneately im not a computer geek..yet..i dont understand FSB, but i assumed it would be better than a lower one. If anyone can suggest a better motherboard than the one NCISAGENT suggested, please do so. =) Thanks

I would get a ASUS p4p800. It has 4 memory slots and its made by asus so its a very good mobo. Bacisally what the FSB... let me give u a example. Say if you have a cardboard box and you want to store stuff. Then you take it out and it eventually becomes empty. Thats what FSB is. Its just like a department for the stuff the CPU needs to process. Since it cant do it all at once, it just stays in it before it gets processed. I dunno if that is a good example... but thats all i could think of. Since you have 800 FSB... then it will be very good.

you should get PC3200 RAM and a better motherboard. check your motherboard supports AGP 8x for that graphics card, and 800FSB for the CPU. if it supports 800FSB then it will also support PC3200 Ram because they are the same speed (DDR400 = SDR400 x 2 = 800). the motherboard is a way important factor in the speed of the comp in general ;)

If i went with 566 FSB (or watever it is heh), would it be very noticeable while playing a game?
