Hey everybody,

I am finally building my own system for mainly apps (autocad and solidworks) and some gaming

I was going to build up my own, but I keep seeing theses barebones sys on ebay, that look pretty good, but I need a more expert opinion

could I do better than this building on my own for the cost?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=51145&item=5160370785&tc=photo

I don't need the keyboard, mouse, speakers or CD/rw,
but would like to get a DVD burner

I am having a hell of a time selecting components for a good package that cost $500-600

anyhelp or suggestions would be great

Thanks
Erik

phosho510,

That looks good, but I have gotten the impression that AMD is better for a gameing comp, intel for Apps ?

I like the DVD and hard drive selections,....good deals

though I would be willing to give a little on board and video cost to be able to get memory and a case for the total

thanks for the input,...at least I have two of the items to complete the system

:D
