AnandTech: i5 / P55 Lab Update - Now with more numbers

Quite interesting isn't it....Phenom 2 and a GTX 275 absolutely owns. I wonder what sort of explanation there can be for this?

You have to remember the i7 920 with turbo is only 2.8GHz if I remember correctly, as opposed to the PII X4 965 which is clocked at 3.4GHz.

Wait a sec you are right...i just realized the intel are at stock turbo speeds. how lame.

They're all clocked at 3.8ghz, though...

It looks like all are at 3.8ghz, at least according to the CPU-Z's.

The applications benchmarks show the CPUs both overclocked and not. the game benchmarks are all on 3.8. Read the article (esp. Hik and Vern ).

weird...
What's really strange for me is that the 4890 is 10fps UNDER the GTX 275. ?!?!?!?!?! I thought the 4890's were supposed to be better?
