Just painted my case black, and I would like to have green light come out of the side panel air grates.

Would a single, 10-12 inch cold cathode do the trick?
Where do I plug it in?
Is it a significant heat adder? (cold cathode makes me think not).

Sounds good. Can you show me a picture of the molex connector?

How did you get the lettering on your case? I have a relative who has a saw that can cut steel, but he said he couldn't do anything that would look smooth or straight. Or did you just buy it like that?
(I wanted to cut out intricate lettering on my side case).

Thanks!

the ccfl actually first runs through an inverter, then to your molex plug. I find blue-uv sensitive molex plugs to be very nice for window modded cases...then again I might just be uv crazy :D

Anyway the molex is the end of the power connection thats coming from your PSU to all your devices (HD, CDRW, Floppy..etc) Has 4 wires... Red/Yellow and 2 Black with a white connector on the end.

I have like 3 different wires coming out of my HD that match that description, but I will figure it out. :)

Dremel tools expensive?
