please request links if needed, thanks.

well, what do you want to do with it?

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer - sold without manuals and retail box.

IDE is Integrated Drive Electronics - The way that CDROM/HDD drives are connected to the motherboard. Also called ATA.

well u made a few mistakes im pretty sure u will prolly regret if u plan on playin games.
1. that card is not that great it will play bf2 low to mid range. 6600gt much better
2. that chip why not an athlon 64 bit 2800 or something those are pretty good
shouldnt have spent that much money on a sound card but thats not my place looks good other than that

i suggest what timmer says. Get the Athlon 64, it will be worth it. Also, you will regret buying that budget card. Try to get a 6600gt.

Finally, users that know what they're talking about :)

Yes, the 9550 SUCKS. I bought one and regretted it. The 6600GT could run BF2 on high settings.

Get a 64 CPU for future applications and games.

Total would be $1437 at newegg.com. I think that's too expensive. See what you can cut down.

The 420 watt psu isn't the best, but it should be sufficient.
