Im currently trying to overclock my cpu and I'm maxing out at 2300mhz and stable. I want more and the problem is that this comp won't allow me to change my vcore from bios. Is it possible to unlock it or find a modded bios that will enable that feature? The mobo I currently have is a AU31 with a NF2 chipset and the cpu is a AMD Athlon xp 2800+

make all your changes in BIOS. I was just talking with someone last night who was overclocking in windows and he OC'd too far and then couldn't get into windows... but since he didn't oc w/ the bios, clearing the cmos did nothing as windows tried to load his OC w/ windows each time and he got blue screens each time.

Its Extremly reccommended you not do this, becuase you are seriously jeapodizing you hardware...

but there are numerouse programs.

They offer you to change speeds in windows, not in the BIOS.
