It would seem that today is the day for driver releases. There are brand new Catalyst Beta Vista RTM drivers out today that will also work for all you guys running Windows Vista RC2 as well. The 32bit package is 37.6MB and the 64bit package weighs in at 45.6. Go get emÂ’!
Performance highlights for the Catalyst® Vista RTM driver include: 3DMark05 overall scores improve 5.8-9.7%. 3DMark03 performance improves as much a 10.7%. Serious Sam 2 performance improves as much as 8.4% with the largest gains seen at lower resolutions.
