Default Catalyst 8.8 Drivers- Screwing with your bios flash thread.

Catalyst 8.8 Drivers Available

Ya, gurusan I've heard of a lot of people who had problems with these new drivers after flashing the 4850 or 4870. But on the bright side with the stock bios you can now get 40-50 more mhz I think I heard somewhere.

Are you going to stick with the 8.7 drivers? I'm liking the bios I have now, I don't want to go back to stock -_-

I already flashed my bios back to stock and am using the 8.8 drivers. I'm going to be leaving next week on holiday in the Lake District and will figure out what I want to do when I come back.

Also have 2 more E3110 chips and an E8400 on the way to me

WHY SO MANY? :/

Ill keep the 8.7 drivers till I see some good solutions with using 8.8 + bios flash. There aren't really any performance increases for the 4850 anyways.

Oh, and I might be getting a nice big case soon... hehe without spending any "money".

if everything's working fine with 8.7 then stay with it...I wish I had

and I bought them because I got them for great deals...paid 57 quid for the E8400...spend about 215 total for all 3 cpus.....hoping to get a good clocking one and get 50-70 profit to put toward an E0 e8500

oh nice, why don't you go back to 8.7? Just use driver cleaner pro and then re-install 8.7.

?
