Catalyst 8.6 Drivers

AMD has just released the new Catalyst 8.6 drivers for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux platforms. Along with the standard performance improvements and bug fixes, the Catalyst 8.6 drivers add OpenGL Quad CrossFireX support for 3 or 4 GPUs in CrossFire mode and OpenGL Adaptive Anti-Aliasing Custom Filters support.

I installed these last night. For some reason, CCC won't run. It will come up and stay on my screen for a split-second, and then its gone. It keeps trying to come up, but never makes it longer than a split-second.

I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Anyone got any ideas on this one?

I've had that happen a couple of times (not just with 8.6)
I ended up uninstalling the cards and CCC, using Driver Cleaner, then reinstalling JUST the drivers
then I installed CCC by downloading the separate CCC installer:
AMD GAME Drivers & Tools

I used Drive Cleaner, installing the 8.6 driver, and then the 8.5 CCC. Not that I can overclock... I'm still getting tearing in BF2.
