It's molex, 12v source. I wouldn't even bother soldering. Use a hot glue gun after crimping it to the wire then tape it. I figured out this was a lot faster about half way through.

nice job man!
you might even try unplugging the side panel fan and see if the design becomes even more pronounced...then if so you can buy a black fan and replace it.
if not, leave in the blue fan.
still looks great.

Yeah I tried that and it really didn't affect the design. The biggest thing that affects it is the lights on the RAM. Kind of lights up the middle of the top design. I was thinking about getting some tracers and seeing how that looks, should light up the etching in an interesting way.

Sorry for the necrobump but I recently installed some Ballistix Tracers, they light up the middle of the design. It goes from Yellow (green on the edges from the blue) to Red (with purple on the edges from the blue). It looks even cooler than before.
