Default casemod galaga

This case is based on the old 2d galaga arcade game, but will be 3d obviously. its made of 1.5inch square blocks.

inspiration:



as you can see, the blocks are not even lol. i have a belt sander im going to use to clean it up.

im almost done with building the whole thing, gotta sand down some of the midmatched blocks, primer and paint it

well im only sanding the edges so its not very much off. i built it out of blocks so that theyre not lined up, so you can get the 8bit feel. ill only sand the blocks that are way to big and disrupt the general lines

I like it. Galaga is perhaps my favorite old school game.

That's bigger than I thought it would be too, that had to be a LOT of work. Looks pretty cool though, are you going to paint it the same colors as that image?

yup will be painted the same colors as the image. for the model, 4 blocks on mine equals one block on the image
