Im pretty sure it is for the fan controller that came with my case. anyway, where in my case should I put it? do I like, tape it to a stick of ram or what? what tape should I use?

(sorry, i should have made one thread with all these questsions, but they keep comming up at different times)

well, its part of the case. it came installed with it. the end is about an inch or 2 long and it is thin and flat and there are 2 sliver wires you can see inside it. I dont know what case fan it is (all of them?)

it was a loose wire just floating around in there... it came attached to the case...

If its just a case fan then I would just place it somewhere in the middle of the case so it measures the air the fans will be taking out.

I put mine on the CPU heatsink and it's usuallly within 2* of what my software system monitor shows. I don't think the temperature sensor has anything to do with the fan control.
