Case Modding, questions about using Metal Conduit.

I have plans for modding a case, basically rip out the middle, change it up with some metal conduit, maybe round it off at the top, just making it striped almost, but not quite.

My question is, will metal conduit overheat, and is there anything I should be aware of prior to doing this?

I do have basically any tool as my disposal...

So, can I go as planned? Or should I take precautions?
