As far as soldering goes, a 25w iron will do just fine. Especially if you are new to soldering you don't want 40w because it'll get too hot too quickly and you'll wind up burning your board

That's why I said no more than 40watt......

I've done it with a 80watt....dang does taht thing get hot too....just don't hold it on there too long....

I dont suggest going out and buying any kind of tool. Its really a waste of money. Once you get your case, and decide what you want done. Then figure out what you need. Its not like you need a tool belt and a master degree lol. Most of the time, you just need to drill a hole. So you can MOD a fan on, since its usually not the original position.

Theirs no need to go and stock up on tools. Becuase you'll most likly not need them, or your going to use them only once. If you dont have a drill, im sure you know someone that does. All you REALLY need is a screwdriver and maybe a drill.

Finished With TF.

I don't really consider adding a fan true case modding. I call that just adding a fan.

These are case mods:,00.asp

You'll need some tools (and possibly even some thermite! ) for real modding.
