I was wondering what I could do with my left over parts after I overhauled my computer. Luckily, my family has a derelict VCR sitting in the garage.

i need to stress to everyone planning on doing similar things that there is more than just basic computer knowledge required in what i did!!! do not mess around with a non enclosed power supply if you don't know what you are doing. the chassis of that cd player is earthed and i've made sure to keep all the dangerous voltages "relatively" isolated. if you don't you can kill yourself
