no, its 44c not 48. its the arctic freezer 7 pro. im buying watercooling soon.

yeah... I am using a zalman 9500, watercooling soon. this chip might just run hot.. because my e6600 was running at 21C idle. now, I have one core at 36C, and one at 42C in coretemp (just moved my comp from inside my case to the floor) so I think depending on the temps I get with watercooling, I am gonna lap the cpu.

hrmm for being a smaller die (45nm) it should be running cooler, and i think have less of a temp threshold

yeah.. sorta has me worried, but not too much. I am planning on upgrading before I see the degradation of the cpu. lets hope :-D
