I dont think there is a FX-53 that cant hit 2.8ghz. These processors are great for OC. Thats the satisfaction of life...... having more then we need. Thats what all humans desire to begain with. I know i want alot more money then i can spend lol.

I could spend the billions, just build PC's and give them away

And if a gfx card doesnt get a world record, give it away.

isnt the fx55 1mb L2 chace and the fx53 only 512?

just buy some more L2 cache and put it in the chip and bam you got an FX-55

All the FX processors have 1MB L2 cache anyways.

Yes, they were intended as server processors of a different flavour than Opterons and 1MB was (and still is) considered high end for AMD processors.
