hmmm just curious what made you go with AGP? I've never had good luck with maxtor drives, but I know people that have, I won't touch em anymore.

Theirs nothing wrong with AGP. Hell the X800 XT is for AGP, and i think the Platinum edition is also. Plunty of great cards are for AGP, and they will be for awhile too.

i have a 250 Gig maxtor IDE and im not having any problems. what kind of problems have you heard about? i sure hope this isnt a sign of things to come.

um... absolutely nothing wrong with AGP. PCI-express is great but for now AGP is still king. Atleast till the end of the summer, when I'll get dual 6800gt's... oh yes.
