Who says dual core is useless for gaming? Its usefull when you want to encode dvds and play doom 3 at the same time. Also, the reason i picked an LCD was the same reason i picked all the wireless shit. You have the money, so might as well make it look good. Finally, THe 6800GT beats the x800 hands down.

Btw, if you want to save money, you can get a 17 inch LCD for 240, get only one DVD burner, use onboard sound, buy 10 dollars speakers, and finally use a wired mouse. If you make those cuts, you save 455 dollars.
