imo you should save up for a 6600gt, the 9600xt is very outdated and isn't worth the money, especially when the 6600gt is MUCH better than the 9600xt and only a little more

Ill buy a OS off ebay, or from walmart

eh i double checked, but can someone make sure all the sockets match, and its all compatable?

reason for gfx, because its cheap, good reviews, and 100 was my limit on a card

and also should i change the 50buck case for a 25dollar case and a 25dollar psu?

That's the exact same motherboard I got sitting in my room in my closet. Check pcclub.com to see if there's a local retailer near you because they have it for 79.99, you don't have to pay shipping and they have a really good return policy -
7 day money back, 30 day exchange for same motherboard, and for a year if it messes up they'll send it back to the manufacturer for you.

As far as the Chip and Motherboard, they match, but if you can, you should get the retail box Venice chip since it's only about 10 bucks more and supposedly runs a lot cooler.

Be weary though, I read in another thread just a few minutes ago that that motherboard doesn't recognize the Venice chip but will still use it, it will just default to a higher voltage.

You're also getting the exact same videocard as me, but I bought it for 50 bucks more about a year ago lol.

Good choices, everything matches up that should match up.
