I have a good gaming computer. It cost me 1250$ Canadian (with current rates, that's 1000$ to you guys)

100$ is just ridiculous. Go play the lottery.

"Ok, lets just pretend I am going to pay full price on all the stuff. Wat mother motherboard? Processor? HeatSink?"

if you are going to pay full price for a mobo and cpu(retail with heatsink and fan) it should cost around 300 depending how good the mobo and cpu is
