Hello, I am new to these forums. I am also trying to build a great gaming computer on budget, I'm lookin for a quiet, overclockable(never oc'ed before but im anxious to try), and cool. I have chose these items to build my pc with, and I would like some opinions on if its a good pc build, and all suggestions are welcome.
AMD Athlon 64 (939) 3200+ Winchester core ($190)
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI NVIDIA nForce4 (only want SLI bc I can't afford a grand graphics card, so I will have to get a decent one for now and when future games catch me lagging, buy another decent one of the same type) ($180)
Corsair XMS (2*512mb) ddr400 dual channel ($176)
Leadtek 6600GT PCI-E ($180) (on second thought it might have been $205......)
Xblades gaming case ($55) or buy a plain old white case, then painting it, adding a side window, putting on graphic designs I seen at xoxide.com, and lots of purdy lights.
Also I would like to know what a good ammount of power would be needed for this system.........What do you all think?
