Default Building a Gaming PC

CPU: AMD Athlon64 3800+ Venice Processor
Motherboard: DFI LanParty UT nForce 4 Motherboard
Memory: 1GB (2x512 sticks) OCZ Platinum Rev2 RAM
Power Supply: Ultra X-Connect 500w Modular PSU (or an Antec TruePower)
Hard Drive: Seagate 250GB SATA Harddrive with NCQ (Native Command Queuing)
Video Card: nVidia 6800 Ultra
CPU Cooler: Zalman 7700 AlCu CPU Cooler
DVD-ROM: LG DVD-ROM Drive, black

How many £££'s do you think it will cost and what do you think of it??

SOunds almost like my new system just the CPU is way better

but did you consider gettin the NEw SATA DVD-RW drives and a SATAII 250 gig 16mb cache HDD?

hmm i see ur from britain like me, it will be more than you expect.

I went crazy like this, until i actually found out the true prices of things.

What do you plan to spend?

well it looks about 1300-1500 american u do the math.
Intel p4 HT 3.0GHz
1 16x Toshiba dvd burner
2 sticks of corsair ddr2 533mhz 512mb
GeForce Fx 6600GT
Asus P5LD2
480W thermaltake

Don't get the 6800 Ultra, its way too overpriced. Get the 7800 GTX because it's a little under $500 now. Nice ram and might want to think about a different psu and most people around here will tell you to go with the OCZ Modstream 520W PSU.
