If you only want one graphics card then you shouldn't go for an SLI motherboard. As far as I know SLI is only used for 2 cards, so it's a bit of a waste.

The 6800GT is a good card.
 
The motherboard is a good choice. The 4000+ is a good processor, too. I personally would go with a 3800+ because it benchmarks very closely to the 4000+, but it costs $215 less on newegg.

If you are looking for one really good vid card, get a 6800GT or 6800U.

You can use them for a single card. Using an SLI board will allow for a vid card to be added on later on, which will prolong the game-playing ability of the computer when new and more graphically intense games come out.
