Ok, the reason I'm going to build the case with wood is because it would be cheaper (in my case) because my dad works in construction and can help me out. (+ I'm a college kid, and money pays). So all I wanted to know was if you guys know any problems I may run into + this is my first time building a computer... so I'd like to avoid biting off more than I can chew...

Well here's what I'm planning on using for components:
(it's not the dream team of components, but it should get the job done)

Intel Core i3-530 2.93GHz
Gigabyte Micro GA-H55M-S2H Motherboard
Corsair CMPSU-PSU 650w
Corsair DDR3 4GB
OCZ Vertex Series 30GB SSD (used for a boot drive)
Western Digital 500GB Hard Drive (used for media and larger files)
LITE-ON Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Reader
Thermaltake CPU Cooler
HDTV TV Tuner Card

I can post some pictures of the cooling system/case design if you guys want, but I'd really like to just here some input from you guys. (visit the Link below for some concept designs)
