the thing you have to take into consideration is price. the 3.4, being the highest model i think, is generally way overpriced...if you get that, then wait until the next higher-up processor comes out.

for processor you should consider buying maybe a 2.8 or 3.0 which would be a good amount cheaper and then just overclock it to what you want. i have my 2.8 running at 3.22 and its perfectly stable and cool with no voltage changes i could go higher. then that would allow you to go higher end with other components like a graphics card or maybe 2 raptors or more memory.

Youll want to change the hard drive. THe one youve selected has a 2MB buffer. You want 8.

Like that one.

Everything else is looking pretty darn solid. I wouldnt exactly recommend Aspire for a case OR a keyboard/mouse. But if thats what your tastes are, stay within that. I would recommend these:

yea i didn;t see u had a 2MB buffer so. What it is, is like i will give u a example. Say if u have a big warehouse. OR liek a store. Its gonna take u along time if u wanna find 1 part in a huge store with only 2 people. But if u have 8 people tring to look for u, its gonna take a shorter period of time. Bacisally what it is, is it makes you load programs faster.

That list looks pretty good except the hard drive (as already mentioned). I think the only thing you are missing is speakers and a monitor.
