This is a project to build a Subwoofer into your system.

Parts List:

PC case free

Tang Band W6-1139SG speaker: $4

Dayton SA70 subwoofer amplifier: $50

Sheet-metal screws: $3

Vinyl damping sheet: $9

Foam-core sheet: $7

Polyester stuffing: $4

Grille-cloth remnant: $5

Total: $118



Tools
4- or 4.5-inch angle grinder
Dremel or similar rotary tool
Utility knife
Electric drill
Glue gun
Large scissors
 
yay....thats exatcly what i want, something that will make my case rattle and shake even more, and loosen all of the screws, and get in the way of the PSU cables.

but cool idea nevertheless, just not practical.
 
uh.... he turned the thing into a subwoofer and a subwoofer only. there are no computer components inside that case...

On one hand, thats pretty cool, a good use for an old case.

But whats the point?
 
ya i'm saying its just a good way to use an old case lying around (i'm pretty sure that was the author's intent too!) I'm gonna work on that tonite
