hey i was jus wonderin whether there is any way of acessing the bios from WITHIN windows, like maybe sum application or something. Cuz if there is it would be pretty useful.
Jus wondering

I am pretty sure there isn't, although you never know. They now have programs to update bios through windows, I use one that came with my Abit board. Would be sweet though. But when you change the Bios you have to restart anyway, saves time not having to boot windows.

you can change the cpu settings if you have the new abit technology with the 2nd cpu. Call Uguru, and it lets you change cpu settings on the desktop. = Abit AN7

Same with Intel boards. There is a program which allow you to control your memory and cpu speed. Excellent for those who don't know or are afraid of playing in the BIOS.

i woulda thought companies would have taken that idea and used it, it would be good for advertising to new ppl
