Ok i have a GIGABYTE mobo and after I change around the settings in BIOS and "save and exit" none of the changes are evident in CPU-Z. WTF?

cpuz may be faulty.get into BIOS and see whether the changes you made are retained.if it is,you will have to get other softwares to monitor then.
