Default BFG Video Cards

What are the BFG video cards like? I was thinking about getting the BFG 6600GT 128mb pci-e.
Any suggestions/opinions would be great.
Chris

They're good but too expensive in comparison to other brands (EVGA,Giga-byte...)

They come guarenteed to overclock which is kinda nice but unnecessary. Like, turtile said, they are more expensive than some of the other brands.

Well they come overclocked, like the rest said...however they are more expensive because of that. Also it isnt worth it since you can overclock yourself.

This would be a better buy:

They're okay. Some come pre-OC'ed. A whole extra 10mhz! Insane!!!

lol yay 10mhz!!! yea such a gimmic. i got a gigabyte 6600GT 128mb PCI-E and i've got the core oc'd to 579mhz and the mem doing 1.3ghz now i might have just got lucky but even with the worst luck i can't imagine that you would get below 520/1.05. btw thats useing rivera tuner. with the nvidia drivers it auto detects at 580/1.16.

anyway in australia the bfg OC card costs 399 while the gigabyte costs 269 seems like a huge increase in cost for no real benifite

Can we say 'lifetime warranty'?

Or how about 'awesome tech support'?

I knew you could.
